job summary: Are you ready to accelerate your career with a Top-Tier Global Pharma Leader? We are seeking a dedicated Scientist I to join a dynamic team in High Point, NC. This onsite, first-shift role offers an incredible opportunity to hands-on support internal product development within a cutting-edge laboratory environment.
location:
High Point, North Carolina job type: Contract work hours: 9 to 5 education: Bachelors responsibilities: Test and release raw materials and finished products to support product development. Conduct testing on stability samples in alignment with project timelines. Support daily laboratory operations, including ordering supplies, safety compliance, and lab cleanup. Document experimental data accurately in compliance with strict regulatory standards.
qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline. 1-2 years of pharmaceutical lab experience (or 0-1 years with an advanced degree). Strong foundational knowledge of cGMP and GLP regulations. Demonstrated understanding of Analytical Chemistry principles. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work onsite (Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM) with occasional weekend flexibility. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds in a lab setting.
Preferred:
Hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, LC-MS, GC, FTIR, and UV-Vis. #LI-MH1 skills: High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Liquid Chromatography (LC), UV-Vis Spectroscopy, FTIR Spectroscopy, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
