Job DescriptionRegular attendance and punctuality.
Preparing analytical standards and reagents Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment and instruments Calculating results using Excel spreadsheets and/or instrumental software Support clients Analytical Technology group by conducting wet-chemistry and instrumental analytical chemistry analysis on in-process, final batch concentrate (FBC), monovalent bulk concentrate (MBC) sample types. Preparing analytical standards and reagentsOperating and maintaining laboratory equipment and instrumentsCalculating results using Excel spreadsheets and/or instrumental softwareDocumenting results in electronic laboratory notebooks and reviewing notebooks of peersSupporting senior analytical chemists on various projects as assignedUtilizing technical knowledge to identify, troubleshoot, and assist with resolution of process problemsDocument experiment execution using an electronic lab notebook, batch record, and/or protocolsPrioritize and organize work to meet project deadlines and support team goalsCommunicate effectively with co-workers and client staff members
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipAdditional InformationPosition is full-time, onsite Monday- Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm, position is located in Sanford, North CarolinaMay be requested to work on weekends, overtime, and holidays based on business needs.

QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
BS in Chemistry or Biochemistry with a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a laboratory environmentExperience working with proteins or carbohydratesExperience performing HPLC and experience with OpenLab/Chemstation and Empower3 softwareExcellent oral and written communication skills as well as strong computer skillsIncumbent must be organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or in a collaborative environment.Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipAdditional InformationPosition is full-time, onsite Monday- Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm, position is located in Sanford, North CarolinaMay be requested to work on weekends, overtime, and holidays based on business needs.
