Lab Pack Chemist (Field-Based - Entry Level)

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Lab Pack Chemist to support field operations through on-site chemical handling, identification, and packaging. This role involves traveling to various client locations to assist with lab packing projects. Travel is conducted as part of a team, with transportation provided—no independent driving required.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform on-site lab packing, segregation, and proper packaging of hazardous and non-hazardous materials Identify, categorize, and label chemicals in accordance with regulatory guidelines Assist with inventory and documentation of chemical materials at client sites Ensure compliance with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Department of Transportation (DOT), and OSHA standards Work collaboratively with field teams to complete projects safely and efficiently Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times Support loading/unloading activities as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field preferred 0-3+ years of experience in lab packing, hazardous waste, or environmental services (entry-level candidates encouraged) Strong understanding of chemical safety and hazard classifications Willingness to travel to multiple job sites Ability to work in physically demanding environments (lifting, standing, PPE use) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Pay Range:
