This position offers:
Pay rate of $25•30/hr. (depending on experience); 42hrs/week, week on/week off rotation schedule (Thursday-6hrs, Friday-Wednesday-12hrs; then off for a full week); upon return-flip shifts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a rigorous approach to laboratory procedures, a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality assurance. They will be skilled and detail-oriented. In this role, you will focus on analysis of plant production sampling, plant production assistance, raw material testing and urgent sample testing (such as final product analysis for soon to ship products), as well as all other QC functions necessary to keep the QC Laboratory functioning efficiently.
Job Duties include:
Perform all required test methods with accuracy and precision, and in accordance with the test procedures while adhering to all testing protocols. Operate all required analytical equipment as necessary. Maintain cleanliness and safety within quality control work area. Maintain Emergency Response Training. Maintain accurate, legible, and detailed notebook and testing logs. Communicate test results and observations to production and maintain a good channel of communication within the department as well as with all other departments. Notify QC Manager when supplies are running low and if any problem or concern would affect product quality, safety or lab effectiveness. Aid in Health and Safety Programs, training and implementation. Perform administrative, data management and statistical summaries functions as needed. Adheres to all department, company, and corporate policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Chemistry with 2 or more years of practical analytical or QC laboratory experience or; AAS in Chemistry or Chemical technology with 8 years or more of practical analytical or QC laboratory experience. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Must possess skills to summarize data, draw conclusions and report findings. Apply today! #IND456
