Job Title:
Associate Scientist in Routine HPLC and GC Analysis Job Description We are seeking an Associate Scientist to perform routine HPLC and GC analysis in a GMP analytical laboratory. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the pharmaceutical industry, working with APIs. Responsibilities Perform routine HPLC and GC analysis in a GMP analytical laboratory. Conduct additional analyses using FTIR, KF, DSC, TGA, IC, NMR, and polarimetry. Coordinate raw material testing in a materials management system. Inspect manufacturing supplies for quality and compliance. Sample raw materials and intermediates as part of routine analysis. Coordinate the timely and compliant generation of data to support client projects. Review data for technical content and adherence to good record-keeping practices. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 2 years of related pharmaceutical analytical laboratory experience. Experience in good laboratory/manufacturing practices (GLP/cGMP). Proficiency in HPLC and GC analysis. Familiarity with standard lab equipment such as balances, pipettes, and pH meters. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Basic chemical knowledge with the ability to handle materials safely. Effective communication skills with manufacturing and quality personnel. Ability to multitask effectively. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with laboratory quality control or stability testing. Interaction with quality assurance processes. Work Environment The role is based in a laboratory environment where you will work with extractables and leachables, migrations, andLC MS/MS
technologies. The position involves working with a high level of professionalism within the pharmaceutical industry. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Painesville, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
