Experimental Physical Chemistry/Quantum Dot Research The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Oklahoma is looking for candidates for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Experimental Physical Chemistry/Quantum Dot Research. The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Oklahoma is looking for candidates for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Experimental Physical Chemistry/Quantum Dot Research. The successful candidate will have experience in materials science, photosensitizers, and specifically, quantum dots, to complement the department's emerging strengths. Consideration will be given to candidates with expertise in light detection and ranging applications and in studies involving single-particle imaging of quantum dots. In addition, we are interested in candidates who complement other research areas in the department and conduct research that would be of interest to the Department of Energy and the Department of Defense. The candidate will help elevate the department's research agenda, support strategic initiatives, and align with the OU Strategic Theme of "Energy, Environment, and Sustainability". Considerations will be given to candidates whose research infrastructure needs are related to the department's existing faculty and can be met by leveraging departmental infrastructure.
