Job DescriptionEssential Duties and Responsibilities:

Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriateDemonstrates and promotes the company visionRegular attendance and punctualityPerform prep/analysis of samples of various matrices for various analytical methodsAnalyze/prep samples and QC for routine testingReview, work up, and assemble all supporting data for work performedPerform basic maintenance on equipment used for routine workRead, understand, and carry out SOPs required by EPA or company methods, governing agencies, clients, and our internal QC departmentPrepare standard solutions and other reagents as neededUse word processor and spreadsheet programs on PCDispose of all chemical wastes using approved methodsConducts all activities in a safe and efficient mannerPerforms other duties as assignedThis position is full-time, Sun-Thurs OR Tues-Sat, 1st shift 8am-4:30pm, with overtime as required. Training will be M-F, 7am-3:30pm, but may be able to be flexible. 

QualificationsBasic Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field. Equivalent relevant experience may substitute for degree. Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.

BS in Chemistry, with some analytical Chemistry classes Previous lab experience is a plusExperience with instrumentation is a plus, including LC/MS or GC/MSEnvironmental Science coursework or experience is a plus, but is not required Additional InformationPay rate: $18-19/hour + 10% shift differential Please note - Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes, the actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill set, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location.
