Description Evonik Corporation is seeking a Senior Chemist (Trexlertown, PA) to act as the Polyurethane Coating Hardeners technology interface with focus customers on key product developments and technical service. Support customers in all technical concerns of Vestanat and Vestagon product range. Understand customer needs and drive specific developments for key customers. Develop strong customer relationships to understand and address their market needs. Support new product development programs to meet emerging needs of the global polyurethane coatings market. Liaise with U.S. production facilities in the development and enhancement of new technical products and develop new production options like external tolling. Lead internal growth projects out of the Americas region with global impact and focus. Support Marketing and Sales functions in setting up account plans and key account strategies. Supervise 1 Lab Technician. Local telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week. Up to 20% domestic travel and 5% international travel.
