POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN MEDICINAL CHEMISTRY
Texas Southern University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Position Overview The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Texas Southern University is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow in Medicinal Chemistry to join an active research program in drug discovery in the RCMI center funded by NIH. Research Focus- Medicinal chemistry and drug design
- Organic synthesis of bioactive compounds
- Structure-activity relationship (SAR) studies
- ADME-oriented compound optimization Candidate Requirements
- PhD in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, or related field
- 1-3 years of relevant research experience preferred
- 1-2 first-author publications in medicinal chemistry or related journals
- Strong background in organic synthesis and compound characterization
