This role will focus on developing and optimizing formulations for liquid & powder beverage systems, partnering cross-functionally to bring products from concept through commercialization. This is a hands-on position suited for someone with strong formulation expertise, experience with beverage systems, and a passion for delivering consumer-driven innovation. Key Responsibilities Lead development of refreshing beverage products (e.g., flavored drinks, functional beverages, RTD systems) from concept to commercialization Design and execute bench-top trials, pilot plant runs, and scale-up activities Develop and optimize formulations, balancing flavor, stability, texture, and nutritional requirements Evaluate ingredient functionality, including sweeteners, acids, stabilizers, flavors, and color systems Support processing trials and assess the impact of manufacturing conditions on product quality and shelf life Troubleshoot formulation and processing issues related to stability, separation, flavor, or appearance Collaborate cross-functionally with regulatory, marketing, operations, and commercial teams Support customer-facing projects, including presentations, demos, and technical discussions Maintain detailed documentation of development work and project outcomes Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related discipline 3-7+ years of experience in beverage product development Hands-on experience with formulation of liquid or powder beverage systems Strong understanding of ingredient functionality and processing impacts in beverages Experience working in lab and pilot plant environments Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Preferred Experience Experience with refreshing beverage categories (e.g., juices, flavored drinks, functional beverages, RTD) Exposure to shelf-life testing and stability optimization Experience supporting scale-up and commercialization in a manufacturing setting Customer-facing or applications development experience
