Cardiologist (Clinical Trial Physician) -
Anchorage, AK Job Type:
Part-Time Shift:
Day Position Summary:
We are seeking a board-certified Rheumatologist to serve as a Principal Investigator (PI) or Sub-Investigator (Sub-I) in our current and upcoming clinical trials. The Rheumatologist will oversee study participants, ensure protocol compliance, monitor patient safety, and collaborate with the research team to maintain high-quality trial execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as PI or Sub-I on assigned cardiology clinical trials. Conduct participant evaluations, physical exams, and assess eligibility. Monitor safety, adverse events, and treatment outcomes. Review and sign study documentation according to protocol and regulations. Collaborate with coordinators, nurses, and research staff. Attend protocol training and maintain compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) .
Qualifications:
MD or DO with an active California medical license . Board-certified in Cardiology . Interest in clinical research (experience preferred; training provided if needed). Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
$100-$200 per hour (depending on study complexity).
