Job Description

Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) Fountain Valley, CA Position Summary The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) is responsible for the coordination and execution of industry-initiated dermatology clinical trials in compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), FDA regulations, and site Standard Operating Procedures. This role works closely with the Principal Investigator, site leadership, pharmaceutical sponsors, and study participants to ensure subject safety, protocol adherence, and high-quality data. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate 11-15 industry-sponsored dermatology clinical trials.
  • Conduct approximately 20-25 patient study visits per week, including vital signs, ECGs, and biological specimen collection (blood/urine).
  • Ensure compliance with study protocols, GCP, FDA regulations, and ethical research standards.
  • Maintain accurate source documentation, case report forms, and regulatory binders.
  • Enter, review, and manage clinical data while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Administer study questionnaires, diaries, and participant materials per protocol.
  • Manage investigational product receipt, storage, dispensing, and drug accountability.
  • Coordinate laboratory specimen processing, shipment, and review of reports.
  • Assist with patient screening and enrollment; recruitment is primarily supported by the clinic.
  • Ensure study supplies and equipment are available and functioning.
  • Prepare for and participate in monitoring visits, audits, and inspections.
  • Comply with HIPAA, OSHA, company policies, and SOPs. Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of
GCP, FDA
regulations, and clinical research processes.
  • Clinical experience with proficiency in phlebotomy and patient-facing procedures.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Dermatology research experience and CRC certification (ACRP/SOCRA) preferred.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fountain Valley, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
