Job Description
Join Our Team as a Clinical Research Assistant Are you looking to break into clinical research and make a difference in patients' lives? Northern California Retina Vitreous Associates (NCRVA), a leader in ophthalmic care and research, is seeking a full-time Clinical Research Assistant to support our clinical trials for retinal diseases. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside expert physicians and a dedicated research team in a dynamic and growing clinical research department. You'll receive hands-on training in retinal imaging and/or manifest refractions, clinical trial protocols, and other research procedures.
What You'll Do:
As a Clinical Research Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting interventional and observational trials, helping to advance treatments for blinding eye diseases.You will:
Be trained and certified in retinal imaging and/or manifest refractions Help complete lab specimen processing Conduct medical history interviews, collect vital signs and assist with questionnaires Enter and manage clinical trial data using electronic systems, review completeness and accuracy of data as needed for site monitor visits, and assist in the resolution of data queries Coordinate patient appointments and maintain study documentation Prepare source documents/charts, lab kits, and research work stations for study visits Create source document templates, study visit checklists, and/or eligibility checklists if not provided by CRO/Sponsor Assist in the creation and updates of trackers, grids, and other tools that support day-to-day operations of the research departmentWho We're Looking For:
We're seeking a motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.The ideal candidate will have:
Strong organizational and communication skills A desire to learn and grow in the field of clinical research Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfort interacting with patients and handling sensitive medical information Bonus points if you have: Experience as a Phlebotomist or in Ophthalmology or in a clinic setting .Position Details:

Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm (40 hours/week)Pay Status:
