Clinical Research Coordinator

Clinical Research Coordinator I We are seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator I (CRC I) to support our Emergency Medicine Clinical Research Unit (EM-CRU). This is a highly hands-on, patient-facing role in a fast-paced emergency room environment. The CRC I will play a critical role in executing clinical research studies from start to finish, with a strong emphasis on patient interaction, recruitment, and data collection. Key Responsibilities Conduct patient recruitment, screening, and enrollment in the emergency department setting Perform informed consent discussions independently with study participants Execute accurate and timely data entry and study documentation Serve as a boots-on-the-ground, patient-facing coordinator in a high-acuity clinical environment Manage studies across the full research lifecycle (A-Z coordination, excluding budget ownership) Collaborate with investigators, clinical staff, and research teams to ensure study success Support multiple studies across varied therapeutic areas, adapting to differing acuity levels Qualifications Prior experience in clinical research coordination required; patient facing experience Demonstrated ability to independently recruit, screen, and consent patients Comfortable working in a fast-paced emergency room environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt across a variety of study types Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Palo Alto, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
