This role supports clinical trials in nephrology and ensures high-quality data collection, patient coordination, and compliance with study protocols. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, and eager to learn in a fast-paced clinical research environment. Responsibilities Assist in the coordination and conduct of clinical research studies under the supervision of the Principal Investigator and study coordinators. Recruit, screen, and schedule study participants, ensuring adherence to inclusion/exclusion criteria. Translate study materials, communicate with Spanish-speaking participants, and ensure clear bilingual understanding of study procedures. Collect, record, and maintain accurate study data in electronic data capture (EDC) systems. Prepare, organize, and maintain regulatory documents and study binders. Assist with processing laboratory samples, shipping, and maintaining supply inventories. Communicate with sponsors, CROs, and clinical staff as needed. Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), IRB requirements, and study protocols. Qualifications Bilingual in Spanish and English. Phlebotomy experience (required) Prior clinical research experience preferred but not required—training provided. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse patient populations. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and basic computer systems. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. CPR/BLS certification is a plus. Must be reliable, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality in all research-related tasks.
