Job Description

Job Title:
Clinical Research Assistant Train on the first shift once hired and discuss your availability for various work hours and days. Participate in a rotating schedule with permanent staff, typically involving a 2-week rotation including weekdays and weekends.
Work technician hours--rotating schedule:
Monday to Friday 5:45 AM to 3:45 PM 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM with 2-week rotating weekend Saturday and Sunday from either 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Clinical Research Assistant where you will engage directly with healthy volunteer participants in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You'll receive training on the first shift upon hire and contribute to innovative clinical research. Responsibilities Be open to working overtime or occasional weekends if needed. Interact directly with healthy volunteer participants while learning to read clinical research protocols. Accurately perform clinical tasks such as blood pressure, venipuncture, weight, pulse, respiratory rate, and temperature readings. Prepare and accurately record ECGs/Holters. Collect and process biological samples as specified in the protocol, ensuring proper distribution. Monitor meals to ensure dietary compliance by research participants. Assist in preparing rooms and medical equipment. Support screening procedures as required. Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working and study environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Experience in clinical trial and clinical research processes. Skills in pre-screening patients and phlebotomy. Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic charting. Phlebotomy experience is required. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Certification as an EMT, CMA, or CNA is preferred. Work Environment Work in a healthcare environment with healthy study participants at a clinic in Daytona Beach. The clinic hosts over 100 employees and features 80 beds. Dress code and specific attire requirements will be in line with professional healthcare standards. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Daytona Beach, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
