This pivotal role involves leading multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and advancing scientific knowledge in the field of human health. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in molecular biology, cell culture, and clinical research methodologies, with a passion for driving impactful discoveries that improve patient outcomes. Duties Lead and manage all aspects of clinical trials, including study design, protocol development, and execution in accordance with FDA regulations and ICH GCP standards. Oversee patient monitoring, ensuring safety, adherence to protocols, and accurate data collection throughout the study duration. Conduct laboratory experiments involving tissue culture, protein purification, Western blotting, ELISA assays, PCR, flow cytometry, and chromatography techniques. Supervise research laboratory activities such as cell culture, transfection procedures, microscopy analysis, and molecular biology experiments. Review and validate documentation including case report forms (CRFs), laboratory notebooks, and regulatory submissions to ensure compliance and data integrity. Analyze complex datasets using statistical software such as SAS, R, or Python to interpret experimental results effectively. Maintain detailed records of all research activities while adhering to HIPAA guidelines for patient confidentiality and data security. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including clinicians, statisticians, and regulatory experts to ensure seamless project progression. Ensure all research activities comply with FDA regulations and institutional policies related to animal physiology studies or other specialized protocols. Qualifications Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with extensive experience in clinical research or as a Principal Investigator in biomedical studies. Proven expertise in tissue culture techniques such as mammalian cell culture, transfection, and cell biology assays. Demonstrated knowledge of molecular biology methods including PCR, Western blotting, ELISA, chromatography, and flow cytometry. Valid ICH GCP certification; additional certifications such as CA (Clinical Associate) are highly desirable. Strong understanding of FDA regulations governing clinical trials and research laboratories. Proficiency in statistical programming languages such as R or Python; experience with SAS is preferred. Excellent documentation review skills with meticulous attention to detail for regulatory compliance purposes. Familiarity with patient monitoring procedures within clinical trials; experience working under HIPAA guidelines is essential.
