This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting . Ideal for premedical students or aspiring healthcare professionals, this role provides exposure to cutting-edge research processes, regulatory compliance, and medical terminology essential for a future career in medicine or biomedical sciences. Duties Assist study staff with daily activities Support patient screening, enrollment, and monitoring activities, including vital signs measurement and blood sampling procedures such as phlebotomy. Review and organize clinical documentation, ensuring accuracy Collect, input, and manage data using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and statistical software to support research analysis. Participate in patient interactions under supervision to monitor health status and record vital signs accurately. Aid in maintaining laboratory supplies, preparing samples for analysis, and ensuring laboratory safety protocols are followed. Requirements Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a premedical or related healthcare program with a strong interest in clinical research. Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership roles in academic or volunteer settings preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, clinical trials management, and regulatory requirements such as FDA regulations and ICH GCP certification is highly desirable. Experience with clinical laboratory procedures, blood sampling (phlebotomy), vital signs measurement, and EMR systems is advantageous. Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail for documentation review and data collection tasks. Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams while maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards.
