Emp Status Regular Full time Work Shift What you will be doing Key Responsibilities Research & Data Activities Conduct literature reviews and assist with study design and protocol development Coordinate patient enrollment, informed consent, and follow-up for clinical studies Collect, manage, and analyze clinical, surgical, imaging, and patient-reported data Maintain accurate research databases in compliance with institutional standards Prepare IRB applications, amendments, and yearly progress reports Assist with statistical analysis Scholarly Activities Contribute meaningfully to manuscript writing, revisions, and submission Present research findings at local, regional, or national conferences Prepare posters, abstracts, and presentations for academic meetings Participate in weekly research meetings and interdisciplinary discussions Clinical Exposure & Educational Opportunities Shadow orthopedic surgeons in clinic and operating room (as permitted) Attend departmental grand rounds, journal clubs, and educational lectures Receive mentorship in career planning, residency preparation, and professional development Engage with a diverse range of orthopedic subspecialties (sports, hand, spine, adult reconstruction, foot & ankle, etc.) Non-Discrimination Policy Hospital for Special Surgery is committed to providing high quality care and skilled, compassionate, reliable service to our community in a safe and healing environment.
