CLINICAL RESEARCH ASSISTANT
(Ala Moana area)
Compensation:

REQUIREMENT
Must be a resident of Hawaii A full-time Clinical Research Assistant position is available. Employee will be trained to follow Good Clinical Practices and International Harmonization Codes to assist research coordinators in the following tasks/procedures:
  • vital sign intake
  • phlebotomy
  • EKG tracing
  • data capture and transcription
  • filing laboratory results Hours required: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday Excellent entry-level opportunity for an exciting career field with potential for advancement.
Ideal candidates will possess Bachelor's degree in the sciences and/or clinical experience. College seniors with excellent qualification (GPA, referral, etc.) may apply. Willing to train on specific procedures. Applicants should be self-starters who are service and detail-oriented. Strong interpersonal skills are required. East-West Medical Research Institute (www.eastwestresearch.com) is an established clinical research center in Honolulu, conducting clinical trials since 1995. We work with some of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world to conduct the long-term clinical trials required to help get new medications to market and to the patients that need them. Areas of research included diabetes and diabetic complications, metabolic disorders and obesity, chronic and acute pain conditions such as osteoarthritis, gout, asthma and many others. We were established in 1995 and continue to grow in size and reputation for excellence. The two Principal Investigators are board-certified endocrinologists. Our team is dedicated, upbeat, and customer-oriented. EWMRI recognizes that hiring and retaining knowledgeable, organized, and friendly staff has been the key to our success.
