Work Location Lexington, KY Type of Position Faculty Position Time Status Full-Time Tenure Track Status Non-Tenure Track Required Education MD Degree or Equivalent Required Related Experience Completion of residency training in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship Clinical cardiology experience is required Required License/Registration/Certification Kentucky Medical License Board Certified in Internal Medicine Board Eligible or Board Certified in subspecialty of Cardiovascular Diseases Job Summary The Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Kentucky is seeking a faculty member to serve as the medical director of the cardio-oncology program within the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. This position will primarily oversee the multidisciplinary care of ambulatory cardio-oncology patients who receive care within the state-of-the-art cardiology facility located within the Comprehensive Markey Cancer Center, and in-patient consults within the University of Kentucky Medical Center. Most of of these responsibilities will include clinical care teaching activities with medical students, residents, and fellows.
