Successful Candidate will:
  • Provide clinical research support to include recruitment, randomization, data collection, tracking, interview, and follow-up necessary to conduct research studies.
  • Provide administrative support to the 99MDG Research and Development efforts to include collection, compilation, transcription, and documentation of research data.
  • Coordinate administrative and Institutional Review Board approval of proposed research protocols, protocol amendments, progress reports, and final reports.
  • Ensure appropriate maintenance and renewal of human subject research protection training and other research trainings for each individual listed on research protocol.
  • Advertise assigned studies utilizing approved recruitment materials.
  • Create and maintain a database of research projects. Prepare reports to be presented at scheduled Clinical Investigation Program department meetings.
  • Meet with and brief research subjects to obtain written informed consent to participate in projects.
  • Coordinate with study auditors, regulatory agencies, collaborators, and sponsors in management of research studies.
Requirements Include:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Certification in Clinical Research and 2 years healthcare related field experience or experience in human subject research projects, development, test, and evaluation (within the last five years).
  • Must have current Human Subject Research Protection training Office of the Under Secretary of Defense "Personnel and Readiness" within 15 days of hire.
  • Must have current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 15 days of hire.
  • Superb organization skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Refined interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience working within the Military Healthcare System preferred.
  • Ability to undergo a background investigation which requires U.
