Job Description
Preferred Family Medicine is a modern concierge primary care practice in Reno, Nevada launching a new clinical research division: Reno Clinical Trials . Our mission is to bring cutting-edge medical research to Northern Nevada while offering patients access to innovative treatments and compensated research participation. We are seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) and Practice Innovation Coordinator to help establish and grow our clinical trials program. This role will work closely with the Principal Investigator and research team to conduct clinical trials in accordance with FDA regulations and Good Clinical Practice guidelines. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing research site at the ground level.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage clinical trials from startup through closeout Screen and recruit study participants Conduct informed consent process with study participants Schedule and manage study visits Perform study procedures including: vital signs EKGs specimen collection and processing study questionnaires Maintain accurate source documentation and electronic case report forms Maintain regulatory binders and essential documents Track study timelines and participant follow-up Communicate with sponsors, contract research organizations, and monitors Manage investigational product accountability and storage Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and study protocols Assist with participant recruitment initiatives and community outreach Qualifications Bachelor's degree in health sciences, nursing, biology, or related field preferred Previous experience as a clinical research coordinator preferred but not required Medical assistant, nursing, or laboratory experience helpful Strong organizational and documentation skills Excellent interpersonal and patient communication skills Ability to manage multiple studies simultaneously Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment Interest in clinical research and medical innovation Preferred Qualifications Clinical research experience GCP certification Phlebotomy experience Experience with electronic data capture systems Marketing and recruitment experience a plusCompensation Salary:
