Job Description
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with Pl to review and ensure work processes and products strictly follow the study protocol as written and approved by the Einstein IRB. Manage all aspects of the IRB including submitting progress reports, adverse events, and protocol deviations. Oversee data collection and data cleaning, performing regular audits to ensure that the data collected are complete and accurate, and that the research is being conducted as outlined in the protocol and that the Pl stays informed. Assist Pl with preparation of grant proposals (new and competing renewals). Facilitate the preparation of conference abstracts, oral presentations, and poster presentations, and participate in the development of manuscripts for publication. Represent the study at internal and external academic meetings and community events. Recruit, acclimate, and supervise undergraduate and graduate student research fellows. Work with Departmental Administrator to develop and monitor project budgets. Attend patient clinics to manage the recruitment of participants into the study, oversee study follow up procedures, and questionnaires from study participants. Be responsible for overseeing remote recruitment of participants, remote follow-up study visits, and collection of questionnaires from study participants through REDCap. Oversee long-term follow-up with participants for Pl's longitudinal research project. Have the opportunity to attend departmental and division Grand Rounds, to attend and present at Pediatric Research Day, Psychiatry Research Institute at Montefiore/Einstein Day, virtual research meetings, and other learning opportunities.QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree and prior experience in clinical research or patient-facing work. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Powerpoint and have the ability to apply technology to resolve problems. Outstanding judgment, initiative, organizational skills and attention to detail are essential. Outstanding personal skills and comfort with remote (phone and video conferencing) and in-person interactions with patients and families for outreach and other related study procedures. Can be relied upon to ensure that activities within areas of specific responsibility are completed in a timely manner, independently. Outline project goals and timelines and reviews progress at defined intervals. Ability to work well in a team setting and independently is essential. Knowledge of basic statistical tests; familiarity with STATA, SPSS, SAS, or R and ability to perform data analysis preferred. Experience leading interviews and qualitative methods preferred. Spanish-speaking strongly preferred. Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is listed below.
