Yes Department Overview The full-time annual base salary range for this position is $655,000-$813,723; commensurate with experience and rank. Base pay does not include incentive pay, hiring bonuses, or additional benefits such as retirement contributions. The Knight Cardiovascular Institute (KCVI) is recognized as a top integrated center for cardiovascular clinical care, translational research and professional training in all aspects of heart and vascular disease. Guided by a multi-disciplinary approach, researchers and clinicians drive a vibrant translational research program, which focuses on delivering the latest knowledge and cutting-edge care to patients. Specifically, research at KCVI seeks to improve patient outcomes by achieving earlier diagnosis of disease, more accurate monitoring of its progression, and tailoring therapy to the molecular basis of disease. Function/Duties of Position The successful candidate will serve as a clinical cardiac electrophysiologist in the Knight Cardiovascular Institute. This position will provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the university's missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service.
Clinical:
Procedures in the EP lab, inpatient consults, managing the inpatient EP service in conjunction with APPs and fellows, EP clinic, supervising device clinic, and reading ECGs and ambulatory monitors, as well as developing and growing specific areas of clinical interest. Additionally, there will be outreach opportunities, as assigned by the chiefs of EP and cardiology. This position will also share in the EP call coverage, as well as the teaching of EP and cardiology fellows, residents, and medical students.
