Erie, PA Job Description:
A full-time opportunity is available for a Medical Oncologist to join a growing, multidisciplinary cancer program within a nationally recognized oncology network. This role offers the ability to provide comprehensive cancer care in both outpatient and inpatient settings, with access to advanced therapies and participation in clinical trials. Physicians will work in a collaborative, physician-led environment supported by experienced oncologists, advanced practice providers, oncology nurses, and dedicated support staff. Shift /
Schedule:
Full-time position Day schedule Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Shared on-call coverage among physician team
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat patients with oncologic and hematologic conditions Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including chemotherapy and supportive therapies Provide care in both outpatient clinic and inpatient consult settings Participate in clinical trials and evidence-based oncology practices Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and support staff Manage patient follow-up care and treatment outcomes Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care Contribute to program growth and clinical excellence initiatives
Requirements:
MD or DO from an accredited medical school Board Eligible or Board Certified in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license Strong clinical skills and interest in oncology care and clinical trials Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork
