Job Description

The Clinical Research Coordinator Associate will support coordination and implementation of ongoing clinical research studies focused on hypertension treatment and stroke prevention. Responsibilities include participant recruitment, screening, enrollment, scheduling study visits, participant follow up, and maintenance of study documentation.

Coordinate day-to-day activities for assigned clinical research studiesRecruit, screen, and enroll study participants in accordance with protocol requirementsSchedule and manage study visits, including follow-up activitiesServe as a primary point of contact for study participants, ensuring clear communication and positive participant experienceMaintain accurate and timely study documentation, including regulatory and source documentsAssist with data collection and entry in study databasesSupport study teams and investigators with operational tasks related to study executionCollaborate with research staff and leadership to ensure adherence to study timelines and goalsBachelor's degree in health sciences, public health, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experienceStrong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced research environmentExperience interacting with human subjects or working in a clinical or research setting is preferred Prior experience coordinating clinical research studiesFamiliarity with participant recruitment and retention strategiesExperience with data entry and research documentation systems (e.g., REDCap)
Appointment Type:
Term-Limited (1 year, with potential for extension based on funding) Work EnvironmentThis position works closely with a multidisciplinary research team and requires frequent interaction with study participants. The role may involve a combination of on-site and remote work, depending on study needs.

Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.
