Clinical Research Drug Management Specialist (Unblinded Clinical Trial Experience Preferred)
Location:
El Paso Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced clinical research professional with prior experience handling investigational products in clinical trials. Candidates with experience in unblinded study activities are strongly preferred. This role involves investigational product management, study documentation, accountability tracking, and coordination with clinical research teams to support FDA-regulated studies.
Responsibilities:
Manage investigational products for clinical research studies Maintain drug accountability, storage, temperature logs, dispensing records, and reconciliation documentation Support unblinded study activities according to protocol requirements Coordinate with investigators, study coordinators, sponsors, CROs, and monitors Ensure compliance with study protocols, GCP guidelines, SOPs, and regulatory requirements Maintain accurate research and pharmacy-related documentation Participate in monitoring visits, audits, and study closeout activities
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Neuroscience, Pharmacy, Biology, Clinical Research, or related field Prior experience in clinical research or investigational product management preferred Experience supporting unblinded clinical trial activities strongly preferred Knowledge of GCP and clinical trial processes Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced research environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in neurology or hospital-based clinical trials Experience with electronic clinical trial systems and accountability logs Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
