We provide comprehensive treatment for age-related macular degeneration (AMD), diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular disease, retinal detachments, ocular tumors, uveitis/inflammatory eye disease, inherited retinal degenerations and numerous other vitreoretinal conditions..Our work environment includes:

•This position will be responsible for support of the research department and clinical research coordinators. This position requires excellent organization skills and attention to detail. In addition, ophthalmology experience with refraction experience is recommended. The refractionist/clinical research assist will work closely with the research coordinators to ensure all images are completed and submitted per protocol requirements. Any data collected and documented will be done according to ICH/GCP guidelines and strict protocol adherence is maintained. Detailed reporting to Research Coordinators and Research Management is also required. •Responsibilities:
•Protocol compliance when performing procedures and setting up appointments. Ordering of supplies and study related materials. Performance of Refracting procedures related to research protocols: Must be able to use phoropter and trial frames. Must be able to become certified by each of the study protocols based on their requirements. Must be able to read and understand protocol requirements related to refraction procedures. •Qualifications:
•Preferred Medical Assistant with experience in ophthalmology OR One or more years clinical research experience, preferably in ophthalmology with refraction experience. Computer Skills, including MS Word, Excel Excellent verbal and written communication Working knowledge of Medical Terminology Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented.
