Job Description

We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Part-Time Clinical Research/Medical Clerical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in performing study related tasks, which may include some or all of the following: Medical records request/review Scheduling Lab processing and/or phlebotomy Patient vitals and medical history Assist with or perform pulmonary function testing Assist with or perform EKG Assist with or perform
ABI Job Overview:
The Part-Time Clinical Research/Medical Clerical Assistant will be responsible for managing and organizing clinical research and medical documentation. This role requires attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. This is a part-time position and will involve working closely with our research team to support the day-to-day operations of clinical trials and ensure proper filing and record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and organize clinical study documents, medical records, and regulatory paperwork Ensure that all documents are accurately filed and easily retrievable Assist with data entry and ensure proper documentation of study progress and patient information Track and manage the lifecycle of clinical and research documents to maintain compliance with regulatory standards Collaborate with research staff to ensure timely completion of required documentation Prepare, copy, scan, and fax various documents as required by the study or team Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other research-related documentation Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and other privacy standards Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the research team
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree or higher preferred) 1+ year of experience in a clerical or administrative role, preferably in a medical or research setting Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document management and filing Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical research processes is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
