Scottsdale, AZ This position is responsible for the research portfolio in the area assigned. They will provide portfolio prioritization direction to the clinical research support staff including (but not limited to), research nurses, nurse navigators, and clinical research coordinators across the HonorHealth network. Using clinical research, and leadership skills, this position will be responsible for monitoring the many aspects of the trial portfolio assigned including timely activation of the new clinical trials, accrual performance for all trials within the portfolio, escalating concerns and issues to the HRI operational and Scientific leadership when challenges and barriers are experienced then facilitate the proactive resolution of the issue. In this role, the manager will actively develop new sponsor relationships and maintain healthy collaborative dynamics with existing research sponsored partners. The manager will track the financial health of the portfolio assigned and ensure it aligns with the operational resources assigned to support the portfolio. The incumbent will manage all operational activities in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations, organizational policy and procedures. The Manager will work in collaboration with the Research Division Medical Director, HRI Directors of Operations, and the service line management team to ensure successful integration of research within the patient care setting and that the scientific, financial and community benefit success for HonorHealth.HYBRID OPPORTUNITY.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in related field
- Preferred
- 2 years supervisory or team lead experience or program management experience
- Required
- 5 years cardiovascular clinical research experience
- Required
- Clinical Research Professional Certification
