The Clinical Project Manager leads and coordinates cross-functional clinical and operational initiatives that support the strategic goals of AC Wellness. This role is responsible for defining project scope, managing timelines and budgets, and driving execution while applying strong critical thinking throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate actively analyzes facts, evidence, risks, and trade-offs to make informed decisions, navigate complexity, and ensure high-quality outcomes in a dynamic healthcare environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Gather, define, and document project requirements, objectives, scope, timelines, and deliverables Apply critical thinking throughout the project management process by actively analyzing facts, data, evidence, risks, and assumptions to inform decisions and recommendations Evaluate the impact of operational, clinical, financial, and resource factors on project scope and outcomes Plan, organize, and coordinate activities across cross-functional project teams Lead and support teams to deliver results on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational and business goals Manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities and deadlines Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues; proactively recommend solutions and escalate when appropriate Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal partners, peers, and leadership Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and management, clearly summarizing status, risks, issues, and required actions Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across teams to drive alignment, accountability, and informed decision-making Represent AC Wellness to internal groups and partners as needed, ensuring project goals and organizational objectives are clearly understood Support clinic operational efforts, including data gathering, data analysis and recommendation generation
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required 2+ years of project management experience, preferably in healthcare, clinical operations, or a related environment Project management certification (PMP, CAPM or similar) strongly preferred Demonstrated experience managing projects of varying size and complexity, including large, cross-functional initiatives Strong understanding of healthcare operations and clinical workflows preferred Knowledge of and experience with project management methodologies, tools, and best practices Strong verbal communication, presentation, organizational, and leadership skills Ability to analyze information, evaluate evidence, and apply sound judgment to support effective decision-making Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with peers, business partners, and leadership via written, verbal, and presentation formats Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to remain flexible and composed in the face of ambiguity and rapid change Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving, and creative solution development capabilities Health, wellness, or medical group experience a plus
