Trauma Research Director Location:
Walton Beach, Florida 32547
Compensation Minimum:
$115,000 annually
Mid Range:
$125,000 annually for candidates with approximately 10 years of experience
Maximum:
$135,000 annually for candidates with 15+ years of experience Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Trauma Research Director to lead trauma research, quality improvement initiatives, and performance management activities within an acute care environment. This leadership role is responsible for coordinating trauma research, education, regulatory readiness, and trauma system development while driving high-quality patient outcomes across the continuum of care. The ideal candidate will bring strong trauma leadership experience, clinical expertise, and a passion for advancing trauma care through research, innovation, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Key Responsibilities Trauma Program Leadership Lead and oversee trauma research, education, and performance improvement initiatives Coordinate strategic planning efforts for trauma services and patient care optimization Collaborate with local and regional trauma systems to strengthen trauma care coordination Support advancement of trauma and acute care innovation through evidence-based practices Ensure compliance with trauma verification and re-verification standards Quality and Performance Improvement Monitor trauma clinical processes, patient outcomes, and quality indicators Develop and implement quality filters, audits, case reviews, and trend analyses Identify opportunities for quality improvement and operational enhancement Design and maintain trauma registry processes to support reporting and research activities Ensure confidentiality and integrity of trauma-related clinical data Research and Data Management Facilitate trauma-related clinical research initiatives and data collection Analyze trauma program performance metrics and resource utilization Prepare reports related to trauma quality, research, and operational performance Utilize registry and research data to support evidence-based care improvements Financial and Operational Oversight Develop processes to monitor financial performance and resource utilization within the Trauma Center Assist with operational planning and process improvement initiatives Support interdisciplinary collaboration across departments and leadership teams Required Qualifications Education Associate Degree required Licensure and Certifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment start date Experience Minimum 5 years of recent acute care trauma leadership experience required Experience within the last year in roles such as: Trauma Program Manager Trauma Coordinator Trauma leadership positions within acute care settings Preferred Skills Strong leadership and organizational skills Trauma quality improvement and performance improvement expertise Experience with trauma registry management and research coordination Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration abilities Strong analytical and data interpretation skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced trauma environment For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
