Full Job Description Overview:
The Clinical Operations and Workflow Project Manager is a key leadership position within Caregenix responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of multiple clinical programs, including Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM), Remote Therapeutic Monitoring (RTM), Chronic Care Management (CCM), Principal Care Management (PCM), and Behavioral Health Integration (BHI). This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on management to ensure smooth operations, high-quality patient care, and team efficiency. The Clinical Operations and Workflow Project Manager will work closely with various stakeholders to assist in the development of the new Carevance platform, manage the training needs of clinical staff, create clinical workflows, and oversee the day-to-day activities of team leads and care coordinators. This position plays a vital role in ensuring that the clinical teams are equipped with the necessary tools, training, and leadership to deliver excellent care and meet organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
1. Assistance in Interface Development for Carevance Platform a. The Clinical Operations and Workflow Project Manager will support the development of user interfaces for the Carevance platform, ensuring that the platform is fully aligned with clinical workflows and needs. This involves collaborating with IT teams, clinical staff, and other stakeholders to provide input on user experience, functionality, and process integration. b. Key activities include participating in testing phases, identifying areas for improvement, and working with the development team to implement clinical requirements into the platform. c. The Clinical Operations and Workflow Project Manager will ensure that the platform supports the smooth operation of RPM, RTM, CCM, PCM, and BHI programs, and that it is adaptable to changes in clinical protocols and patient care needs. 2. Training Development and Implementation a. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive training programs for clinical staff, including team leads and care coordinators. These training programs will focus on platform usage, clinical guidelines, program-specific protocols, and any updates or changes in clinical operations. b. The Clinical Operations and Workflow Project Manager will create or review training materials, ensuring they are up-to-date, relevant, and aligned with best practices, regulatory requirements, and company policies. c. They will also assess the effectiveness of training programs, gathering feedback from staff and making continuous improvements to ensure high competency levels across all clinical teams. 3. Management of Team Leads and Care Coordinators a. The Clinical Operations and Workflow Project Manager will oversee and guide the day-to-day operations of team leads and care coordinators across the various programs (RPM, RTM, CCM, PCM, and BHI). This includes setting performance expectations, providing support and coaching, and ensuring that staff members are meeting quality, operational, and performance goals. b. In addition to managing the operational aspects, the Clinical Operations and Workflow Project Manager will be responsible for fostering a collaborative team environment, encouraging professional development, and conducting performance evaluations for direct reports. c. The manager will ensure that clinical staff are effectively coordinated and resourced to deliver the highest level of patient care while adhering to program objectives and timelines. d. The Clinical Operations and Workflow Project Manager will design, document, and refine clinical workflows.
Requirements:
Valid RN (Registered Nurse), LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse), or LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license with active state licensure in Illinois or equivalent. Extensive hospital experience with a focus on acute care environments such as ICU, emergency medicine, pediatrics, or trauma centers; Level I or Level II trauma center experience highly preferred. Proven management or supervisory experience leading clinical teams within hospital or healthcare settings. Strong knowledge of health regulation policies including HIPAA compliance, Medicare requirements, NCQA standards, and utilization review protocols. Experience managing patients as a nurse case manager across diverse specialties such as behavioral health, social work, addiction counseling or discharge planning. Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy/physiology knowledge, medical records management, and documentation review processes. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive process improvements effectively. Excellent communication skills coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving in fast-paced healthcare environments.
