Live Near Indianapolis, IN- Needs to be local to Indianapolis, Indiana
- Travel to Bloomington (before kick off/for kick off would be up to 1 day/week, then likely monthly or every 2-3 months)
- For other D&C projects that will get assigned, may have to travel out a little more so need to be willing to travel to various regional hospitals. Farthest north would be Fort Wayne, IN (2 hours north of Indy), farthest south is likely Bloomington, IN (1-1.5 hours south of Indy)

1. 5-7 years as Healthcare Project Manager 2. Well-rounded clinical technology PM experience (Clinical apps, Cerner or Epic) 3. D&C (Design and Construction) Project Management experience- the Clinical Technology component Description Our client is seeking an IT Project Manager (Clinical Technology) to join their strategic Design and Construction (D&C) team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end‑to‑end project management for clinical technology scope within capital construction projects, including new hospitals, clinics, renovations, and site expansions.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies for assigned initiatives.
- Coordinate project activities across multiple workstreams and phases, from planning and design through installation, testing, go‑live, and turnover to operations.
- Manage the planning, deployment, and integration of clinical technologies such as: EHR-adjacent systems, medical device connectivity, Nurse call, RTLS, patient engagement, and clinical communication platforms, AV systems, telemetry, and other clinical infrastructure, etc.
- Ensure technology designs align with clinical workflows, safety standards, and operational readiness requirements.
- Partner closely with Facilities, Design & Construction teams to align IT deliverables with construction schedules, milestones, and constraints.
- Review architectural drawings, RFPs, and design documents to ensure appropriate inclusion of clinical technology requirements.
- Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, construction walkthroughs, and site readiness assessments.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders related to project technology scope.
- Communicate status updates, risks, dependencies, and escalation needs to leadership and project sponsors.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, consultants, and system integrators to ensure contract deliverables and performance expectations are met.
- Ensure all clinical technology solutions adhere to client IT standards, cybersecurity requirements, interoperability expectations, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., HIPAA, Joint Commission).
- Support capital governance processes by contributing to business cases, schedules, and cost estimates related to technology investment.
- Maintain documentation, lessons learned, and transition plans to support operational handoff.
