Health and dependent care options Key Accountabilities Provides oversight and leads the implementation and continuous improvement of the Environmental Management Information System (EMIS). Senior level, typically 5+ years of experience. Understands advanced aspects of discipline and is viewed as an expert in a given field. Applies broad range of competencies to develop solutions to complex problems. Often provides specialized/technical/functional guidance to others within department and/or business asset. Responsible for field implementation support of all environmental media (i.e. air, water, waste, spills/remediation, land), permit/jurisdictional and COP compliance responsibilities (i.e. corporate reporting, procedural requirements) for the supported function. Serve as the technical point of contact on all environmental issues for the assigned function. Maintain key environmental tools, such as the Compliance Database, Intelex, spill reporting, water use, air quality records for the function. Coordinate with other environmental professionals to share information and ensure shared understanding of environmental requirements. (including town based permit staff, other FEC's, project personnel, others) Identify and address potential compliance issues proactively and assist in developing plans to maintain compliance during the project. The Environmental Coordinator is often an ambassador of community relations and cultural matters due to the sensitivity of our work location. It is especially important to be a good communicator and prudent around messaging. Assist in communicating environmental requirements to contractors and conduct compliance assurance checks for functional areas as needed. Support/champion COP initiatives, programs, audits, agency inspections and related demands for assigned function. Interact with other COP resources as needed. Serve as the SPOC for questions from contractors and/or scope leaders on Environmental matters. Involve/communicate with HSE Director as needed to support the outcome. Actively interface with KSOP and ACS Spill Response personnel as applicable within function. Provide day-to-day oversight of ACS Techs assigned to the function. Partner with HSE Director in assessing seasonal or project-based staffing needs. Manage all environmental data, recordkeeping, reporting and documentation applicable within function. In some cases, data may need to be compiled within function and provided to one of the other positions for consolidated reporting. Collaborate with HSE Director regarding incidents and notifications. As a team, develop and manage a Red Book training schedule that is equally staffed by each function supporting WNS as a whole. Fairweather is an equal-opportunity employer.
