About the
Position:
This position supervises a team of professionals and supporting technicians in ensuring that the RPEDN Civil Works functions comply with Environmental Laws, Executive Orders, regulations, and agency policies.

Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes meeting all of the following: 1) Apply environmental laws, regulations, policies, and/or principles of environmental compliance to support projects such as flood damage reduction, ecosystem restoration, and/or environmental mitigation; and 2) provide leadership in environmental planning and/or environmental compliance activities by providing guidance and/or support to team members on environmental compliance matters. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). "Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted." You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Leadership Oral Communication Planning and Evaluating Technical Competence Time in
Grade Requirement:
Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
