Environmental Scientist

This is a full-time entry level position for an individual with a four-year degree in a scientific discipline. Position duties/requirements will include, but are not limited to, the following: Identify potential environmental concerns at residential, commercial, and industrial properties Conduct historical research, file reviews, and records searches Prepare draft reports including asbestos assessments, Phase I and II ESAs, etc. Conduct sampling of soil, groundwater, soil gas, and asbestos samples and prepare samples for laboratory analysis Oversee and document field operations/activities and communicate with team members, clients, and subcontractors Be organized and detail oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to work both independently and on project teams Have a can-do attitude and a willingness to perform a variety of tasks as needed to complete an assignment within budget and satisfy project demands Be proficient with MS Office tools Have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record Be willing to travel, including air travel, occasionally Have a bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline Have strong verbal and written communication skills This position will require individuals to work outdoors and perform physical tasks regularly. Salary is commensurate with experience.
