Job Purpose and Objectives:
Ensure enforcement of the Reno County Sanitation Code through the provision of education, inspection and technical assistance services.
Conduct inspection of:
water wells, wastewater, water borne illness and sanitary complaints.
Position Requirements and Qualifications:

Position Requirements:
B.S. degree in environmental related field preferred. Registration as a Kansas environmental health sanitarian desired. Computer literate. Employee is responsible for obtaining and maintaining all certification requirements pertinent to the position. Certifications /
Licenses:
Must possess a valid Kansas driver's license. CPR training preferred. Maintain Registered Sanitarian CEU's, as required. Participate in 2 Continuing Educational Opportunities annually in the area of onsite wastewater, wells, nuisance complaints and/or job specific training. For the complete job description, click here.
