Job Description Laboratory Safety Specialist The Laboratory Safety Specialist reports to the Associate Director, Lab Safety, and works in conjunction with other members of the Environmental Health and Safety staff in assisting faculty, staff, students, laboratory workers, contractors, and the administration in the implementation and execution of safety, compliance, and emergency response programs. In addition, the Laboratory Safety Specialist is responsible for conducting inspections and audits and assisting researchers, facility managers and safety specialists with the execution of corrective actions associated with compliance and program management.
