Lead Peer Recovery Specialist - Full Time

A Lead Peer Specialist assists in the provision of Behavioral Health Services to clients and families. A Lead Peer specialist works as a role model and mentor in the recovery process for both clients and other Peer Recovery Specialists. •This is a grant funded position.

Qualifications:

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

1. Bachelors Degree 2. Experience in the substance use and/or mental health field 3. Peer specialist/provider training 4. Personal lived experience with substance use and/or mental health recovery 5. Strong verbal and written communication skills

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

1. Experience in hospital inpatient setting.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

1. National Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist (NCPRSS) and/or Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) 2. Valid NJ driver's license

Licenses and Certifications Preferred:
