Environmental Professional

Environmental consulting firm based in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a full-time Environmental Professional with 2-5 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate is proactive, motivated, and capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to quickly adapt and thrive in a dynamic work environment.

Required Skills/Experience:

Experience preparing design documents for remedial systems (SSDS, VES, GWTS etc.); Performed environmental site investigations including sampling of soil, groundwater and soil vapor following proper sampling protocols and regulatory requirements; Experience performing maintenance and monitoring on remedial systems including groundwater treatment systems, soil vapor extraction and sub-slab depressurization systems; Experience with characterizing and logging soils; Familiarity with environmental field equipment (PID, Multi Gas Meter, Interface Probes, CAMP equipment, etc.); Experience conducting Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and reporting; Ability to direct and oversee subcontractors; Knowledge of NYSDEC and NYCOER regulations and guidance documents; Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills; Ability to work on multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly; and Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD is a plus.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a science-related field 2-5 years of related experience in environmental assessment and remediation Driver's license in good standing Safety Certifications (preferred): 40 Hour

OSHA HAZWOPER
