Job Details:
Pay:
$26-28/hour (includes shift differential)
Shift:
Monday-Friday 3:30pm-11:30pm
Employment Type:
Contract to Hire Job Duties include: Performs environmental monitoring of plant utilities and production clean zones using particle counters, contact plates and microbial air samplers. Prepares and sends microbial isolates for identification. Performs routine media growth promotion and Gram staining. Performs enumeration and characterization of microorganisms recovered from samples. Performs data entry for collected data. Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by a supervisor.
Qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, biology or a related scientific field Previous experience utilizing aseptic technique required and hands-on microbiology experience strongly preferred. Interested?
