Job Description
You will serve as an
INTERDISCIPLINARY SENIOR ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNER
in the
NAVFAC ATLANTIC
of
NAVFAC NORTHWEST.
Qualifications:
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing natural resources, cultural resources, water and sediment quality, facility planning, civil engineering and Environmental Management Systems; 2) Applying innovative theories to scientific principles, practices and problems not resolvable through conventional methods; 3) Interacting, justifying, and negotiating with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies; 4) Identifying recurring and non-recurring requirements, programming of funds, execution of funds and contract management in facilities engineering management and acquisition; 5) Managing complex, multidisciplinary, and controversial environmental projects from planning through execution. This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates for the 0819 series only.

You must be a currently licensed/registered Professional Engineer (PE) if applying to the Environmental Engineer (0819). Your license or registration must be held in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. Do you meet this requirement? •
