Job Description

Position Responsibilities:
As an Environmental Specialist, you will play an important role in supporting environmental compliance and monitoring at an in-situ (ISR) uranium mining operation. This position is responsible for tracking and reporting environmental data, supporting regulatory reporting, and assisting in baseline assessments for wellfields. The role ensures continued environmental compliance with federal and state regulations. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Track non-radiological environmental sampling data. Identify discrepancies or trends in environmental data and assist in environmental mediation actions if required. Assist HSE Manager in compiling and submitting environmental compliance reports Maintain organized and accurate records of sampling data, test results, and compliance documents. Provide coverage for environmental sampling duties during periods of staff absences. Oversee and coordinate all pump tests and baseline sampling. Job Requirements This is a Salaried position that involves working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and best practices in all work-related activities. Must be able to recognize hazardous conditions, follow company safety policies and practices, and engage in a strong safety culture. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. A valid driver's license is required. The successful candidate will be required to submit to mandatory drug and alcohol testing prior to employment.
Qualifications:
A minimum High School diploma or GED Ability to work independently in remote field conditions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet programs.
