Ready to shape the future of resilient communities? Verdantas is seeking a Field Technician to join our team in the Irvine, CA location. This role supports a variety of geotechnical, environmental and landfill engineering projects through hands-on fieldwork, data collection, and technical support alongside experienced professionals.

What You'll Do:

Perform geotechnical field investigations, inspections, and testing in support of projects Observe and document the installation and testing of geosynthetics Collect environmental and geotechnical samples (soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, vapor, etc.) Operate and maintain field equipment (sampling pumps, gauges, GPS, data loggers, monitoring instruments) Complete field documentation such as field notes, inspection logs, job safety analyses, and chain-of-custody forms Assist with data collection, interpretation, and basic reporting Support quality control and quality assurance procedures Work closely with engineers, scientists, and project managers Follow all health, safety, and environmental protocols

What You'll Bring:

High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree or technical training preferred) 0-2 years of relevant field, construction, environmental, or hands‑on experience Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions Ability to work with WORD and EXCEL Strong attention to detail and reliability

Salary Range:

$24.00 - $26.00
