Environmental Technician

Environmental Technician - Career Opportunity - San Diego, CA Job Description As an Environmental Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing contractors on job sites, troubleshooting various environmental issues, and conducting soil vapor, soil, and groundwater sampling. You will also perform analytical testing and on-site laboratory tests, prepare daily and weekly reports, and ensure construction quality assurance through data collection and general computer knowledge. Responsibilities Oversee contractors on job sites. Troubleshoot environmental issues. Conduct soil vapor sampling, soil sampling, and groundwater sampling. Perform analytical testing and on-site laboratory tests. Prepare daily and weekly reports. Ensure construction quality assurance. Collect and analyze data. Essential Skills Knowledge of construction processes. Understanding of environmental science and physics. Experience in geotechnical operations. Proficiency in troubleshooting and using hand tools. Skill in soil sampling and soil vapor analysis. Familiarity with operations and maintenance (O&M) procedures. Additional Skills & Qualifications General knowledge of physics. Work Environment Work predominantly on construction sites, where you will be exposed to various environmental conditions and tasked with hands-on troubleshooting and sampling activities. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $42.00/hr.
