The company serves clients across a diverse set of large and stable end markets including manufacturing, power generation, aerospace, medical, and defense. ATS was founded in 1967 and is headquartered in Marietta, GA. Today the Company employs nearly 2,100 team members in over 95 locations across the United States. The primary responsibilities of the Test Technician I are assisting specialists in conducting analysis and sample preparation, corrosion chamber maintenance. Technicians also conduct some routine tests that require some data interpretation
Responsibilities:
Conduct sample preparation and assist in performing tests Gather data required for performing routine tests and interpret data on routine pass/fail tests Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of the lab equipment Update chemical and equipment inventories Use tools and technology to track work Other duties as assigned High School or GED; Associate's degree a plus 0-2 years' experience in a material testing laboratory environment Basic technical acumen with the ability to follow lab processes, test specifications, and perform routine tests Able to operate various types of lab equipment and tools with supervision Problem-solving skills with the ability to follow direction and complete tasks in a timely manner Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to operate across other internal departments or functions Working knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), maintain Lab ISO and process Safety procedures.Additional Requirements:
