Applicants will be responsible for environmental field testing, inspections, and daily reporting. Position requires travel as-needed. Level and pay commensurate with experience.
Job Description:
Assists Engineers, Geologists, and other Professionals by performing a variety of testing, project specific observations, and site assessment duties Field sampling of asbestos-containing materials (ACMs), lead-based paint (LBP), and/or mold Field sampling of groundwater, surface water, and/or landfill gas Basic reporting related to field sampling activities Basic data consolidation related to field sampling results Other field work or reporting as may be required Operates equipment, conducts tests/assessments and reports data Works from drawings, specifications, diagrams, schematics and specific verbal and written instructions Uses specific methods to observe site activities and take samples and perform tests Requirements:
Requires high school diploma/GED Relevant higher education a plus Valid Georgia Driver's License Following certificates are a plus, but not required: OSHA 40 hour HAZWOPER, Lead-Based Paint Inspector, Asbestos-Containing Materials Inspector Applicant may be required to pursue additional certification Local travel required Oasis offers a competitive salary with a generous benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision insurance, 401K, Personal Time Off (PTO), paternal leave, short and long-term disability, and direct deposit.
