Our team has spent the past two decades providing environmental, utility vegetation management (UVM), software and sustainability services. We are fortunate to be a part of the Wright Service Corp. family, which has helped us establish a strong foundation for continued growth and success. Forestry & Utility Division Environmental Division Technology & Innovation Division Sustainability Division
JOB SUMMARY
The Drilling Technician is responsible for working on a variety of drilling projects which include environmental and geotechnical drilling, field monitoring, and environmental investigations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions: Participates in a wide range of projects, which may include soil borings and monitoring well installations, conducting environmental research, collecting soil and groundwater samples, working with contractors to complete projects, and communicating with project managers Works with computer software, including spreadsheets or word documents Works independently on small to medium sized projects and assists senior staff on larger projects Collects field samples, data, operates field equipment, and engages in other field activities associated with environmental projects Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings Support, actively participate, and act in accordance with Wright's and Eocene Environmental Group's culture of safety and employee ownership Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintain knowledge of and follow all company policies and procedures

Position will require occasional travel 50%-75% travel including some overnight travel within the State but may also require regional travel and occasional nights/weekends may be required
JOB REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma Iowa Well Contractor Certified Class A CDL or be able to obtain within 60 days of employment Proficient with the Microsoft Office products, including Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel Strong work ethic, excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management skills, be organized, and detail oriented Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1-3 years' experience with drilling General construction knowledge Previous technical and/or field experience implementing or contributing on environmental projects 40-hour
HAZWOPER
Certification (must complete upon hire, if not already certified)
PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
